This week, and next, our school is participating in a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Each day the students can bring in coins to donate and participate in a spirit activity. Thursday was "Dress Your Teacher Day." My students brought me green fairy wing, a black feather boa, a cheetah tail and scarf, and silver bangle bracelets. After receiving several comments from friends working in Corporate America, I was reminded about how much fun my job is! After three days off last week, it's good to be back!
